JobQuest.ph and MoreThanJobs.com.ph Kick Off Jobs Fair 2020

HR Solutions company, JobQuest.ph and online recruitment portal, MoreThanJobs.com.ph ended January with Jobs Fair 2020: Trabaho for Every Juan.

Starmall EDSA Shaw served as the venue for the two-day job fair that attracted thousands of jobseekers from all over Metro Manila.

Jobs Fair 2020: Trabaho for Every Juan featured hundreds of job vacancies for all kinds of applicants – undergraduates, highschool graduates, vocational or TESDA certified, and career shifters too.

Over thirty companies from different industries participated in the job fair event supported by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Philippine Employment Service Office (PESO).

Jobs Fair 2020 is just the first of many more job fairs scheduled this year as part of the renewed partnership between JobQuest.ph and MoreThanJobs.com.ph.

Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) Job Fair in Pasay City a Huge Success

Thousands of job seekers from all over the Metro gathered at the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City for the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) Job Fair!

Fresh graduates, career shifters, and even passive job seekers had a field day checking out and applying to over 15,000 jobs available.

DZXL Radyo Trabaho and MoreThanJobs.com.ph in partnership with PESO Pasay City and the Office of the City Mayor pooled together their resources to mount the event.

The job fair also coincided with DOLE’s 86th Anniversary and Pasay City’s 156th Foundation Day.

Over 100 establishments from various industries such as in construction, wholesale retail & trade, health, beauty & wellness; hotel & restaurant participated in the event.

The most locally in-demand job postings are carpenters, steelman, laborers, gaming associates, janitors, healthcare associates, masons, sales assistants, cashiers, service crews, painters, pharmacists, promodisers, welders, and baggers.

Overseas employment opportunities were also available for nurses, kitchen helpers, engineers, carpenters, heavy equipment operators, restaurant workers, hairstylists, administrators, and supervisors in countries such as Brunei, Japan, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Russia, and Taiwan.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) also provided learning sessions on simple bookkeeping, records management, customer relations, and selling techniques while the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) conducted skills demonstration.

Sutherland Global’s resource person also conducted a short training for prospective applicants on how to project themselves during an interview.

Government agencies such as the Social Security System (SSS), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), National Bureau of Investigations (NBI), Philhealth, Pag-IBIG, and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) provided on-site pre-employment services for job seekers.

DOLE services such as OFW Reintegration Assistance, Livelihood Counselling and legal services were also offered during the TNK Job Fair.

QCPU Recognizes Partnership with MoreThanJobs PH with Certificate of Appreciation

Quezon City University (formerly QCPU) during its founding anniversary celebration presents MoreThanJobs PH with a Certificate of Appreciation.

The recognition serves to strengthen the partnership between the two in working together to provide quality education and well-deserved employment to university graduate students.

The awarding ceremony was held at the university gymnasium last October 10, 2019, coinciding with the school’s 35th founding anniversary.

OIC School President, Dr. Victor B. Endriga, presented the award to MoreThanJobs PH represented by Marketing Manager, Mr. Ayee Rapirap.

Quezon City University and MoreThanJobs PH have been partners in mounting several on and off-campus events and activities geared towards improving the hireability of the school’s graduating students.

JobQuest PH and MoreThanJobs PH Mounts Jobs Fair 2019 in Trinoma Anew

The number 13 isn’t really unlucky, at least not when it comes to the partnership between JobQuest PH and MoreThanJobs PH.

Online HR solutions provider JobQuest PH and online job portal MoreThanJobs PH partners for the 13th edition of Jobs Fair 2019: Trabaho for Every Juan.

The job fair event brought together hundreds of companies from various industries pooling thousands of available job vacancies for every Juan!

As expected, job seekers in and around Metro Manila trooped to Trinoma Activity Center to take part in the two-day job fair event. Job fair data is still not available as of this blog writing, but we will update this with the necessary info as soon as they become available.

We’d like to thank everyone who joined us in Trinoma for two days. Words can’t express how appreciative we are of your support and participation. Rest assured, this is not the last, so keep your eye out for our next job fair schedule happening soon.

Over 50 Job Seekers Find New Jobs Thru Pasay City Job Fair

In celebration of National Tourism Month, Pasay City, through the efforts of Honorable Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano and in partnership with MoreThanJobs.com.ph, organized the Tourism and Jobs Job Fair: A Better Future for All.

The job fair is Pasay City’s initiative supporting the National Tourism Month. It gathered some of the best names in the Hotel and Restaurant business such as Resorts World Manila, Okada Manila, Duty-Free, and many more.

The Tourism Job Fair happened last September 27, 2019, on the 2nd floor of Pasay City Hall. It started early at 8 am, but at around 2 pm before it officially ended, over 50 lucky job seekers already found employment and were hired on the spot.

JobQuest and MoreThanJobs.com.ph Bring Jobs Fair Back to Alabang

Online HR solutions provider, JobQuest.ph and online job portal MoreThanJobs.com.ph once again joined forces to bring the highly anticipated Jobs Fair 2019 back to Alabang, Muntinlupa.

For the 2nd time, Jobs Fair 2019: Trabaho for Every Juan went back to Starmall Alabang in Muntinlupa for yet another two-day job fair event last September 10-11, 2019. Just like the first time last April, it gathered over 30 local and international companies providing thousands of combined job vacancies in various industries.

The 2-day job fair attracted nearly 2,000 job seekers from and outside Alabang, Muntinlupa.

As per initial data, the second leg of the job fair in Starmall Alabang had 30% more job seeker turn up as compared to the first time last April. We will publish more data as soon as we receive them soon.

Local and Overseas Mega Job Fair Kicks Off Councilors Week 2019

PESO Mandaluyong through the efforts of Mayor Hon. Menchie Abalos and in partnership with MoreThanJobs PH kicks off Councilors Week with a local and overseas mega job fair.

The one-day job fair event happened last September 7, 2019, at the Atrium of the Executive Building of the city hall of Mandaluyong city.

The Mega Job fair brought together over 50 local and overseas companies that provided the people of Mandaluyong access to close to thousands of job vacancies here and abroad.

Thousands of job seekers both from and outside Mandaluyong City attended the job fair. The venue was bustling with non-stop activity from the time the job fair started at 8 AM till it ended at 5 PM that afternoon.

The exact figures of how many got hired during that day are still being finalized but stay tuned as we will include the numbers as soon as we have that information available.

MoreThanJobs.com.ph, one of the country’s top online job portal inks partnership deal with 558 RMN Manila’s DZXL RADYO TRABAHO to provide more jobs to the country’s growing job seekers.

45 Job Seekers Find Jobs Through Gabay sa Hanapbuhay Job Fair

The Gabay sa Hanapbuhay Job Fair event conducted by DZXL Radyo Trabaho in partnership with MoreThanJobs.com.ph provided 45 job seekers with brand new jobs.

The anniversary job fair that happened last August 29 at the Guadalupe Commercial Complex was participated by over 20 top companies in various industries. Over 300 job seekers flocked to the venue to check out and apply to available job vacancies. According to data gathered by the Radyo Trabaho team – 135 males, 132 females were present, 39 of which were senior citizens and PWDs.

DZXL station manager Buddy Oberas thanked both the employers and the job seekers for supporting the anniversary job fair. The Radyo Trabaho team hopes to surpass that day’s efforts in their succeeding job fairs to ensure more Filipinos find jobs and hopefully help improve their way of life.

Mega Job Fair #HiredOnTheSpot A Success!

The City Government of Pasay City through the efforts Honorable Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano and in partnership with PESO and MoreThanJobs.com.ph had a successful day mounting the Mega Job Fair 2019!

Thousands of job seekers attended the whole day event at the Cuneta Astrodome that featured hundreds of job vacancies from over 70 local and international companies from various industries.

The Mega Job Fair was made even more exciting when several job seekers were #HiredOnTheSpot! As more of them were invited for a photo op, the environment turned hopeful with the rest of the job seekers trying their hardest to be added to the growing list.

In addition to #HiredOnTheSpot, the Mega Job Fair also set up a one-stop-shop for pre-employment requirements such as NBI, PAG-IBIG, PHILHEALTH, DTI, POEA, PSA, DOLE, and TESDA . This was greatly appreciated by the #HiredOnTheSpot job seekers as they were able to process all of the required documents necessary for them to start work under one roof.
